Me and my super-subtle new running shoes just went for my fastest two-mile run yet.

It was 70 today and I went for a run tonight for the first time in forever and it felt so nice and I just made a grilled cheese and avocado sandwich for dinner and now I’m drinking a beer and everything about today was just very good.

#ok bye. #blah blah blah

If someone has any ideas about how to get rid of a general sense of malaise, I would love to hear them.

I’m sure winter has a lot to do with, but lately my only feelings are sad or cranky.

Boo.

This entire weekend was a “Treat Yo Self” Weekend

I may have gone overboard, but only because I spent the majority of the week mired in panic attacks and crying spurts.

Musings

I want to find the people at Target who created this simple-looking storage cube thing and I want to pee on everything they love.

It took two hours to put together and the pieces didn’t match the directions and pieces didn’t fit right and it was a nightmare. It’s not me, because, despite my clumsiness, I am actually kind of handy.

Favorite Movies of 2011

This is the bandwagon I love to jump on. Right now I’m at about 11 or 12. I’m sure along the way I have forgotten one or two. Also, I still have not seen a lot of movies this year; the most notable exceptions for me are The Artist and Hugo. I’m just guessing that if I had seen these films, they would be on my list.

Movies you won’t see on my list: The Hangover 2, The Roommate, Crazy Stupid Love (I wanted to like you so much!), Rise of the Planet of the Apes, The Green Lantern. I saw a lot of terrible movies this year!

The one thing all of the movies on my list have in common is they all made me feel something, whether it was joy, sadness or excitement. For me, feeling feelings is always important in movies. Give me The Descendants which made me feel both sorrow and hope over The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo, which just left me cold and uncomfortable.

Nobody’s still reading this, but these aren’t in any order because I can’t choose. Except for number one. OK.

noonecanresistmyschweddyballs asked: Tag, you're it!

Here are the rules:

Each tagged person must post ten things about themselves. You have to choose and tag ten people . Go to their blogs and tell them you tagged them. No tag backs.

Eh, why not?

  1. I was almost named Sabrina. I often wonder what my life would have been like if I was named Sabrina. (In my head, I would have had a different life with a different name).
  2. When I was about five or six, my brother packed a bunch of my clothes in a suitcase, put me out on the front porch and told me that my real parents were coming to pick me up.
  3. When I get angry or am faced with confrontation, I cry. I can’t help it and I HATE it. It’s an involuntary reaction and it’s the worst.
  4. I hate winter. I would rather be hot than cold.
  5. Baby corn weirds me out. Seriously. It’s weird. It’s not right.
  6. I fall in love with things quickly and completely and wholeheartedly. This includes books, movies, television shows, animals and people. And I will try with all my might to get all of my friends and family to love those same things. It usually doesn’t work.
  7. I dislike talking on the phone. A lot. More than is probably normal.
  8. I should have WebMD blocked from my computer. I look up EVERY little symptom and soon a simple sniffle has turned into a weird, exotic virus.
  9. Ever since I saw Dead and Breakfast, I have wanted to write a zombie musical screenplay. Seriously. Yes, I know, zombies don’t talk, but I still want them to sing.
  10. I like Hamm.
